Burberry
The Burberry Timepieces collection for Spring/Summer 2009 was inspired by the recently launched Jewellery collection and the brand's British military and regimental heritage.
The collection features innovative, modern yet timeless styles for men and women.
In fashion, Creative Director Christopher Bailey, was largely inspired by his own garden in Yorkshire and a Thames & Hudson book on eccentric Brits called "Garden People" – never types to be daunted by a bit of mud. This seasonal direction reinforces Burberry's rich heritage rooted in the British outdoors and outerwear.
The mood of the season is whimsical, romantic, serene, luxurious and very British.
