Silver Jewellery

Shop beautiful silver jewellery online and in store at Grahams.

Silver is known for its striking, luminous appearance. The precious metal has long been used in jewellery for its soft and malleable pure state. It can be perfectly shaped and woven into silver rings, silver earrings, silver pendants and silver necklaces.

Silver has the highest lustre of any precious metal, meaning it’s more reflective and sparkly than gold or platinum. At points in history, silver was rarer and more valued than gold. Now, anyone can enjoy its incredible look at an affordable price.

Is silver better than gold?

It’s up to personal preference. Silver is less valuable than gold but has a shinier, more calming appearance. Gold is resistant to tarnish and has that classic yellow colour. Both are equally precious as a gift or as a treat for yourself.

Is there a difference between silver and sterling silver?

Sterling silver is an alloy made of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. It’s used in jewellery for improved durability over pure silver, without losing that shine.

Can I wear sterling silver in the shower?

Showering in sterling silver is highly unlikely to damage the jewellery, but may induce some tarnishing. Any dirt caught on sterling silver can be washed off with soapy water to bring back your sparkle.
